This last Sunday I went to brunch at Halo Espresso in South Perth

It was delicious! And the company was great. It’s a relaxing venue, once the crowd disperses a bit! It was clearly a favourite location among the locals, as it was packed for most of the morning. Just makes the vibe a bit more vibrant I suppose. Nice and cosy, and still easy to have a conversation with the people across from you.
Mushrooms on toast sans poached egg, substituted with avocado
The mushrooms were meaty and just a little bit spicey, with an addicting crunchy edge. The avocado leant a cooling creaminess and the balsamic coated rocket and tomatoes added a sweet tang. I forgot to request no parmesan, couldn’t resist taking a photo as the colours worked so well together.
They also have a super sweet and tangy strawberry with lemon and apple juice. I drank it all way before the food came so no picture of that. Too tasty!
Definitely planning a revisit with Bob.
